It will be awhile before Gordon Beckham joins his team on the field.

The player recently fractured his left hamate bone and he went into surgery. Today, Gordon tweeted his fans to let them know he is ok.

“I have awoken! This surgery is….OVA. Mercy… Lock shields @EvoShield I don’t go into surgery without it.”
