“Iron Man 3“ has surpassed $962 million in sales worldwide and its still growing!
The global hit starring 80s celeb Robert Downey Jr. has topped the box office since it opened in theaters on May 3rd. Audiences around the world are addicted to the third movie in the franchise based on the comic book superhero series.
The film is already apart of the elite club of blockbuster movies based on comic book characters (“The Avengers”, “The Dark Knight” and “The Dark Knight Rises”).
“The well-reviewed picture will become only the 16th film to gross over $1 billion globally, and the first in Marvel Studios’ Tony Stark trilogy to cross the impressive milestone,” LA Times reports.
