The American Idol winners’ circle alumni is ready for the Rapture.

The 2001 movie that gave me the creeps is going to be remade on the silver screen. On August 9th, singer/actress Jordin Sparks shared the news via Twitter that she will be apart of the film based on the Christian books.

“Excited 2 share that I have the role of Shasta in the new @leftbehindmovie. I can’t wait to get started! :D”

Jesus Christ second coming is comforting, but the way Kirk Cameron‘s 1st movie depicted people just disappearing was a little eerie.

I wonder what this new version will be like.
