“Bat Out Of Hell, The Musical”: Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman’s Hits Featured in Chicago Show

“Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical” arrives at Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre for one night only. Iconic music from Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf take center stage on April 9th, 2026, according to a press release from The Silverman Group.

The musical has already won awards in England, toured internationally, and scored rave reviews through major news outlets like New York Times.

Music from the legendary “Bat Out of Hell” albums are promised to be featured in the musical, including “You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth,” “Bat Out of Hell,” “I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That),” and so much more. An unreleased song “What Part of My Body Hurts the Most” made the list as well.

“Featuring some of the most iconic rock songs ever recorded, ‘Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical’ boasts an epic world class cast of singers, dancers, actors, accompanied by a dynamic eight-piece rock band,” the press release states.

The Silverman Group adds, “As the Lost boys and girls flee into the tunnels below the city from its ruler Falco, his teenage daughter Raven locks eyes with fearless leader of the Lost, the immortal Strat, and the immensity of their love-at-first-sight-obsessions threaten to destroy both of their families.”

The impressive crew members are Jay Scheib, Michael Reed, Xena Gusthart, Jon Bausor, Linda McKnight, Finn Ross, Patrick Woodroffe, Gareth Owen, Steve Sidwell, and more.

“Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical” plays at Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre on April 9th, 2026 at 7:30pm.
