Today, the very first American Idol winner confirmed via Twitter that she is having a baby girl! After months of speculation, the exciting news about the baby’s gender is here.

Kelly tweets, “We just found out we’re having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!”

This will be Kelly’s first baby with her new hubby Brandon Blackstock.
