BTSCelebs takes a moment to acknowledge the love the Midwest is receiving from the K-Pop industry.

K-Pop has been good to us this year! Boyfriend and B.A.P arrived in and around the Chicagoland area this past Spring for their adoring American fans. Next month, two more hot boy bands, 2PM and VIXX, plan to light up stages in Rosemont and Merrillville.

My question is… where is SHINee? The previous bands mentioned bring immense happiness to their vast followings, but my heart has always been with SHINee. They have landed on the East and West coasts and even made an appearance at the Billboard K-Pop Masters Concert in Las Vegas in 2011.

This fall, they are touring all over Japan for their latest SHINee World tour installment.

In 2015, I hope SHINee is the next K-Pop boy band to grace Chicago soil. SHINee, we are waiting.
