Review: The Engagement Plan

“The Engagement Plan” heads to Great American Pure Flix on August 29th, 2024 and promises to entertain the whole family.

Veterinarian Kayla (Mia Pollini) and finance guru Wade (Jack Schumacher) meet in the city and fall in love. The story starts with Wade buying the perfect engagement ring for his lady love. Now, he just needs to find the right moment to pop the question. After a special meeting of the parents falls through, Kayla suggests they have their parents meet on her family’s farm. Wade reluctantly agrees and is swept up in her family’s quaint world centered on faith and family.

Also, Wade gets intimidated by Kayla’s ex-boyfriend Cam (Eric Lutz) who seems to be a little too friendly with the family. Is Cam there to win Kayla back, and will she choose her comfortable past over a future with Wade? Tune in to discover all the answers!

“The Engagement Plan” is a warm-hearted and sweet family film. It’s a movie with strong Christian values that shares the message of hope and relying on God’s plan for one’s life. I highly recommend fellow Christians see this movie and anyone interested in the Christian faith.

Emily Topper stars as Kayla’s sister Maggie, while Kayla’s parents are Mama Marilyn (Faith Ford) and Ed Jones (Ted McGinley).

“The Engagement Plan” releases on Great American Pure Flix on August 29th and the Great American Family premiere is September 7th.
