Tonight, CBS airs the 2nd annual NFL Honors award show. 16 awards (including seven AP NFL awards) are given at the event held at the Mahalia Jackson Theater in New Orleans.

Brittany Payton and her family will be accepting an award for her late father, Walter Payton.

“Tune in to CBS tonight at 8PM and watch the @nfl Honors – Me & the Fam will be on stage for presentation of #ManOfTheYear award!@superbowl,” Brtittany tweeted.

Jaejoong’s Solo Debut Is a Hit

Kim Hyun joong’s BFF is excelling!

According to JYJ3Official, Jaejoong’s solo debut album ranked number 2 on the Hanteo chart this week. His new rock album (which is on the dark side) has struck a chord with fans.

The album titled “I” shot all the way to number one the first week of its release.

“Jaejoong first solo mini-album ‘I’ ranked #1 in Hanteo real time, daily and weekly charts,” states JYJ’s Official Facebook Page on January 21st.

Donnie McClurkin, Tim Tebow, LeCrae and Bubba Watson: Christian Post to SuperBowl

Christians all over the country are enjoying this pre-Superbowl week. Recently, The Christian Post shared two articles about two very different things relating to football.

Today, Gospel/CCM artists Donnie McClurkin, LeCrae, Marvin Winans, Kirk Franklin, American Idol Fantasia and many others are performing in the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration. The event, which is in its 14th year, features a choir of Christian NFL players.

Melanie Few-Harrison, Creator/ Producer of Super Bowl Gospel Celebration told the Christian Post this about the event:

“We founded this event to bring even more power and celebration to one of the biggest events of the year – the Super Bowl.” 

On January 29th. well-known and respected Athletes Ben Crane, Bubba Watson and Tim Tebow were spotted on Twitter attending a bible study in Arizona. Crane is currently playing in the WM Phoenix Open and CP speculates that an image posted on Twitter (by Crane) was taken at this event. The religious gathering was called the PGA Tour Bible Study.

The boys of SHINee are all grown up and igniting the “Fire” in Asia. The boy band’s company in Japan, EMI Music Japan, released a press release on February 1st all about their upcoming single.

Tyler Perry Sends Birthday Flowers to Oprah

The entertainment mogul expressed his sincere regret and apologizes to the queen of media.

Tyler Perry rushed to his social media accounts to talk about Oprah’s accident this week. He was excited to celebrate her birthday, but his own present backfired.

“I FEEL SO BAD – I like to send really large flower arrangements to people for whatever occasion. Well, I sent one to Oprah yesterday for her birthday. She strained her back picking it up. No joke! Feel better Oprah. Happy birthday. Sorry. 😦 Next year I’m sending her one rose. :-),” stated Tyler on Facebook.

I know Oprah forgives him, but I have to admit his message was 100% shocking to me.

Go Joo Won Joins IU in “The Best Lee Soon-Shin”

Go Joo Won returns to the small screen!

This week, the media rang in the news of actor/model Go Joo Won possibly joining the cast of IU‘s upcoming series “The Best Lee Soon-Shin”. Following his two year military service, this will be his first drama in three years.

Who will be Joo Won’s love interest in the KBS series?  Actress Yoo In Na is reported to be his TV lady.

Where do all the celebs love to hang out and do good deeds...Chicago of course!

According to the Chicago Tribune, Mark Ballas and Brandy are two of the latest celebrities to find peace in the Midwest.

Former “Dancing With The Stars” cast member Mark Ballas is staying fit in the Gold Coast. He took part in a Silk Pure Almond sponsored spin class on January 22nd.

Brandy, on the other hand, made an appearance at The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center. On January 19th, she posed for a photo-op with music students  for the media.
