In honor of the current mini-series currently airing (and my own faith), BTSCelebs will be quoting passages from the Holy Bible that describes the scenes from the series.

History Channel‘s “The Bible” premiered with “Beginnings” explaining the very beginning of the bible. Here are a couple verses describing Abraham’s inheritance from God.

“After these events, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision:

‘Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield: your reward will be very great.’…..

He took him outside and said, ‘Look at the sky and count the stars, if you are able to count them.’ Then He said to him, ‘Your offspring will be that [numerous].'” Genesis 15: 1, 5

“The Bible” airs Sundays at 8pm [EST]/7pm[CST] on the History Channel.
