Simply heartwarming.
“Paper Angels” is a warm Christmas movie all about giving. In UP tv’s latest holiday film, Santa Claus is replaced by everyday people willing to make a difference in others’ lives.
The story is inspired by the Salvation Army’s Paper Angel Tree program aimed at supplying gifts underprivileged children request via a paper angel hung on a tree.
In the upcoming movie, Lynn (Josie Bissett) and her children are in dire need of a miracle following her brave escape from her abusive husband. A year later, she encourages her children to fill out a paper angel to get what they want for Christmas. Little did they know, husband and expectant father Kevin (Matthew Settle) is struggling to keep his business, but decides to buy a child in the program the things they want for Christmas with the money he does have.
Kevin gets blessed during his shopping spree for the boy, while the gifts he purchases is meant to bless more than just the child it is intended for.
I recommend “Paper Angels” to families looking for a wholesome movie to watch this upcoming Christmas season. It really makes you reconsider the reason for your Christmas shopping.
