Patriotic Steve and his personal first lady Marjorie headed to the polls today to do their American duty. While they were at the Atlanta polling location, the married pair took a quick selfie to support early voting. They posted the nationalist image above and caption below on social media.

Steven Pasquale is Billy Bigelow in Lyric Opera’s “Carousel”

He has crossed ‘The Bridges of Madison County” to ride the Carousel!

Broadway star Steven Pasquale joins the Spring production of Lyric Opera’s Carousel. The coveted role from the Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic has been taken, and Steven now has a challenging road ahead.

Lyric’s general director Anthony Freud was firm in his description of the iconic role, “The role of Billy Bigelow is one of the most demanding in all of musical theater. We are so pleased that Steven Pasquale, an incredibly talented and versatile singing actor who has won acclaim on stage and screen, will be portraying this larger-than-life personality at Lyric. “

According to Lyric’s official press release, he and international opera talent Denyce Graves, who will portray Nettie Fowler, are the first ones cast in Carousel roles.

Beyond the theater, Steven was firefighter Sean Garrity in the FX hit TV series “Rescue Me”.

BTSCelebs takes a moment to acknowledge the love the Midwest is receiving from the K-Pop industry.

K-Pop has been good to us this year! Boyfriend and B.A.P arrived in and around the Chicagoland area this past Spring for their adoring American fans. Next month, two more hot boy bands, 2PM and VIXX, plan to light up stages in Rosemont and Merrillville.

My question is… where is SHINee? The previous bands mentioned bring immense happiness to their vast followings, but my heart has always been with SHINee. They have landed on the East and West coasts and even made an appearance at the Billboard K-Pop Masters Concert in Las Vegas in 2011.

This fall, they are touring all over Japan for their latest SHINee World tour installment.

In 2015, I hope SHINee is the next K-Pop boy band to grace Chicago soil. SHINee, we are waiting.

The word on the street is that Psy‘s lil Sis will hit US radiowaves early next year.

This week, news outlets ran wild with the breaking news story of Scooter Braun representing a second K-Pop star from the YGFamily. Psy’s labelmate CL, who is the leader of the group 2NE1, is preparing to make her solo debut in the American Music Industry in the Spring of 2015.

Following the success of her girl group, the YGLady is working hard and already checking in with bossman online.

Author and Women’s Ministry leader Sarah Jakes has found her Boaz!

Almost two months after the release of her “Colliding With Destiny” book, Sarah announced to the world that she is engaged to Pastor Touré Roberts. She quickly disclosed the happy news in the form of a message about her visit to One Church.

“Last night I shared the stage with my fiancé Pastor Touré Roberts. For the first time together we shared with the congregation of One Church the love God has blessed us with. I’m honored and humbled to serve such a beautiful community that welcomed me so graciously. Many of us have experienced relationships that threatened to leave us damaged or afraid to try again. I pray this video is a reminder that where love meets faith God abides! I encourage you to watch the service from beginning to end. Movie Review: “Lyfe’s Journey”

A touching family movie.

BTSCelebs had the special opportunity to view UP tv’s upcoming movie “Lyfe’s Journey”. This emotional tale follows the life of successful bank manger David Lyfe (actor Keith Robinson) who loses his upper class lifestyle after one extramarital affair. Actress Angell Conwell stars as his trusting wife Tricia. She is expecting baby number 2 when she discovers her husband’s infidelity. Her mother (DeEtta West) persuades her to divorce David and start a new life.

One setback after another lands David on the streets with nowhere else to turn. The only way he’s saved is by grace.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this film. It was well written and had superb actors. At the end of the film, I questioned why “Lyfe’s Journey” wasn’t being released in theaters. I highly recommend all ages to check out this moving motion picture. Bravo to Screenwriter Corey A. Prince, Director Ryan Richmond and the entire Swirl Films team!

This gem sparkles brighter than any inspirational film I’ve viewed this year.

“Lyfe’s Journey” premieres this Sunday on UP tv.
