[Music Video Review] Kim Hyun Joong Wins BTSCelebs’ K-Pop Video Poll

Posted on June 3, 2014 by Btscelebs

Henecians rule!

After two weeks of voting, Kim Hyun Joong won the poll by a landslide! The specific video for the K-Pop star to review wasn’t determined on many of the votes… so I chose one of his popular ones.

Since this is BTSCelebs, I chose the perfect BTS dance video of Hyun Joong and his back-up dancers for his 2013 ballad “Your Story”.

I love the way his song sounds, and I think ballads really suit him. However, the dancing is unnecessary. Americans don’t require dancing for slow songs. In my opinion, the dancing is overdoing it a little. Kim Hyun Joong’s voice is great in the song, and a simple back-up band would be more than enough.

However, the devastating news of their surrogate suffering a miscarriage hit the media airwaves yesterday, and Duke’s daddy Rancic broke his silence thru social media.

It’s sequel time!

Following the review of Ms. Dotta’s “Born of Persuasion” last year,  BTSCelebs is ready to dive in the second installment of the Price of Privilege Trilogy. I just started the thick 432 page paperback about a woman thrust into British high society by discovering she is of noble lineage.

In the coming weeks, keep your eyes on BTSCelebs for the complete review!

Book Review: Melissa Tagg’s “Here To Stay”

Posted on May 27, 2014 by Btscelebs

It’s impossible to NOT fall in love with Whisper Shore!

Melissa Tagg‘s second novel “Here To Stay“ picks up right where “Made To Last” ended. The wild child Blaze (aka Miranda Woodruff’s fake hubby) has decided to return home, and settle down for good. His years of running away from the pain of his brother’s tragic death are behind him. Local inn owner Autumn is the one person that helps him discover true love and complete healing.

“Here To Stay” was an interesting journey into two lives that are intertwined by tragedy. This sequel is nothing like “Made To Last”, but has enough heart to make you fall in love with Whisper Shore.

After reading the book, I only have one question…. When will Melissa sign a deal to make this into a series?

*BTSCelebs thanks Bethany House for the complimentary copy of the book.*
