In the film, Sam Doonby (played by actor John Schneider) visits Smithville, Texas one day and changes the lives of those around him. Saving lives, fighting criminals and standing up for enemies is all in a day’s work for the lovable new bartender in town. However, the key to all of his good deeds depended on one thing.

His strange name explains the whole heartbreaking story.

BTSCelebs gives “Doonby” 8 out of 10. The acting was very good and the story was fast paced and compelling. Peter Mackenzie’s “Doonby” ends on a sad note so keep your tissues handy.
