Tyler Young Talks First Day of “Eyewitness” Filming

BTSCelebs’ 2014 summer interview guest Tyler Young started filming his new USA Network series “Eyewitness” today, and he gave fans a little update before and during the shoot.

Yesterday, Tyler was elated for the first day of filming! He actually compared it to Christmas. “Shoot day 1 for #Eyewitness tomorrow. Feels like Christmas morning and I’m on Santa’s *very* nice list.”

He kept the tweets lighthearted with a funny yet serious message about the possible future of contact lenses. He tweeted earlier today,  “Can someone please invent contact lenses that you can sleep / nap in without my eyes gluing shut??? Is that too much to ask for in 2016??”

A belated congratulations to Tyler Young on his upcoming series. I hope he continues to let God direct his path in his successful acting career.

Lyric Opera Releases BTS “The King and I” Photos

A week before opening day, the Lyric Opera of Chicago shared a series of delightful images of the “The King and I” cast hard at work. In the photos, the actors are seen perfecting their dance moves, acting and singing their hearts out.

According to the official press release on Thursday, we get a glimpse of not only the main cast, but the child actors as well. The entire cast joins the main stars, Paolo Montalban and Kate Baldwin. The press release states,

“Principal casting for The King and I also includes Broadway artists Ali Ewoldt (Tuptim), Alan Ariano (The Kralahome) and Rona Figueroa (Lady Thiang), along with Sam Simahk (Lun Tha) and Chicagoland artists Charlie Babbo (Louis Leonowens), Jomar Ferreras (Interpreter), John Lister (Captain Orton), David Parkes (Sir Edward Ramsay), Peter Sipla (Phra Alack) and Matthew Uzarraga (Prince Chulalongkorn). All but Lister make their Lyric debuts. The all-Chicagoland children’s ensemble for the production includes Sophie Mieko Ackerman, Alexis Aponte, Lilly Fujioka, Avonlea Hong, Leila Koss, Evangelyn Lee, Liliana Martens, Lucy Martens, Rika Nishikawa, Ana Joy Rowley-Mathews, Benedict Santos Schwegel, A’naam Singh, Zachary Uzarraga and Sophia Woo. These young performers range in age from 5 through 14.  The King and I is the fourth Rodgers and Hammerstein musical to be presented as part of Lyric’s American Musical Initiative.”

It’s been almost two years since BTSCelebs reviewed a Rodgers & Hammerstein production at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Today, I’m happy to announce BTSCelebs will be reviewing “The King and I” this Spring!

Later this week, I’ll be emailing interview questions to the amazing live production company behind the upcoming SHINee Chicago Fanmeeting and Got 7 Fly tour. As you know, I’m a big SHINee fan (aka unofficial ShaWol) so I’ll be asking SubKulture Entertainment fun behind-the-scenes questions about their highly anticipated May 8th event.

Disney Stars, Dove Cameron and Ryan Mccartan, Are Getting Married

The “Liv and Maddie” stars recently shared their happy news on Ryan Mccartan’s Instagram. Ryan uploaded the photo above via Instagram with this message,

 “Dedicating my 1,000th post to my fiancée. I can’t believe I get to call you that. Thanks for saying yes.”

The young pair, who are both in their early twenties, began dating in 2013. According to People Magazine, Dove‘s family adores him! She said her family joked that they actually liked him more than they did her. They were 100% behind the idea of her marrying him during their first year of dating.

The “Summer Forever ” actor was set on marrying young, and they agreed to date exclusively before he popped the question.

Priyanka Chopra Returns to the USA for “Quantico” Finale Filmimg

She tweeted her gratitude to her hometown fans for their love and support while giving her overseas fans a “Quantico” update.

“Such a proud moment. To be back in my country.. My capital.. Rashtrapati Bhavan & receiving the PadmaShri. #blessed… Overwhelmed by the love I received today. Many thanks and also I apologise to everyone I couldn’t meet. Just know that I appreciate it all. A day at home..missed the feeling of familiarity. Goo Hye Sun Is Marrying Her “Blood” Co-star, Ahn Jae Hyun

The two beloved South Korean actors are getting hitched on May 21st!

Goo Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun’s agencies confirmed to the media today that they will wed in a private ceremony with only their families in attendance. The celebrity pair , who met on the set of the TV thriller “Blood”last year, mentioned in their official statements how important it is to live for others, and they promised to respect each other during their marriage. When they receive money wedding gifts, it will be donated to a pediatric ward.

I’m not too familiar with Ahn Jae Hyun’s work, but I have been watching Goo’s dramas since “Pure In Heart” in 2006. It’s so heartwarming to see one of my favorite K-stars getting hitched.

The Walker family adventure continues!

Over the weekend, BTSCelebs received Melissa Tagg’s latest novel “Like Never Before”. I have been highly anticipating this book ever since Tagg announced she was crushing on her character (and cover model) Logan. I had to see what all the hype was about. Plus, I have been a big fan of her writing since book #1!

As BTSCelebs reads two books simultaneously this Spring, look forward to amazing back-to-back reviews in the coming weeks.

Following the birth of her third child, the author and speaker showed off a very stylish tailor-made ensemble. The lady in angelic white embraced not only her new figure, but a positive outlook on life. Mrs. Roberts shared the following uplifting message on Facebook earlier today:

 “Because sometimes bouncing back isn’t about reaching an ideal weight or size. It’s about embracing the new skin you’re in. Who wants to bounce back to the way things were? You can’t make the best of the present if you’re still longing for the past.”
