Simply delightful.

Tonight, UP tv premiered the second installment in their Love Finds You series with “Love Finds You In Charm”.  The sweet film is all about a young Amish woman named Emma who is obsessed with Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” and desires excitement and adventure in her life. When she visits her widowed cousin for the Autumn season, she gets a surprisingly bitter taste of the life she has longed for.

After giving into the temptation of joining the modern world, Emma has to decide if she will experience life with an enticing writer or stay with the dependable Amish guy who loves her.

Actors Trevor Donovan, Danielle Chuchran and Drew Fuller round out the love triangle in the movie that mirrors the “charm” of Jane Austen’s tales. It has a little of “Pride and Prejudice”, “Sense and Sensibility” and “Persuasion” all sprinkled in it.

The movie was like a breath of fresh air when compared to other love stories out there today. I’m a big Jane Austen fan, so I liked seeing the similarities to her work. The only complaint I have is that there isn’t any diversity. I would have loved to see more of a melting pot in the cast.
