Book Review: T.I. Lowe’s “Sea Glass Castle”

The gripping conclusion of The Carolina Coast series titled  “Sea Glass Castle gives a complete illustration of  Sophia Prescott’s past, present and future. We finally learn all about the cheating and abuse she suffered during her famous marriage to football star Ty Prescott, which ended in a messy divorce. In the midst of Sophia’s trials, the single mom was miraculously given a second chance at love through Dr. Wes Sawyer and the help of her son Collin.

Like Sophia, readers are able to experience a burst of happiness and healing through her unexpected encounters with Wes in the small yet lovable town of Sunset Cove. It’s surprising that the young doctor’s old emotional wounds are in dire need of healing as well. Wes and Sophia’s love story is probably the best out of the entire Carolina Coast series. We meet two well rounded characters that quickly become three-dimensional as you flip the pages. Our favorite nosy Knitting Club earned more of a prominent role in this installment, while the Sand Queens (Opal and Josie) and their husbands are there to offer Sophia wise counsel and moral support. It’s safe to say the men became Sophia’s unofficial bodyguards at crucial times.

T.I. Lowe outdid herself with “Sea Glass Castle”! This book is worth the wait and provides a perfect ending to the Sand Queens trilogy. I highly recommend this novel to people of all ages.

“Sea Glass Castle” is scheduled to be released on August 4th, 2020.
