Tomorrow, Michael Sarver releases his “Layer Two” album, and it’s an absolute joy!

The sequel to “Layer One” reiterates his strong Christian faith while empathizing new things. “Layer Two” describes Michael Sarver’s complete surrender to God and His will through every season of life. The musician is in awe of God’s immense power over everything. The “American Idol” alum even acknowledges that grace saved his life. “Layer Two,” which was co-written by Sarver, is full of praise and wonder. It’s a great blend of R&B, pop, and worship genres.

Stand out tracks are: “Keep Holding On,” “Praise You with My Life,” and “I Still See God.”

Michael Sarver: “I initially felt like I might not be brave enough to let the world hear ‘Layers’ because it’s deeply personal and I knew it would show my vulnerability. But I also knew God was telling me this was more than just another song. ‘Layer Two’ is a true continuation of ‘Layer One’ in that it explores my musical influences and digs even deeper into the layers of my life. The project represents lessons learned, battles fought, and victories won. I hope my honesty can encourage others to look inward, be bold, be real, and then to heal. God is the Author AND the Finisher of our faith. If you’re breathing, you’re not done yet! No matter the enemy’s lies, God’s Word is true and He can and WILL restore you.”
