BTSCelebs had the honor of interviewing one of the most talented duo’s on YouTube. Double Take brings you covers to the songs you love and now you can learn a little more about them.

This is part 2 of BTSCelebs’ interview with Double Take:

BTSCelebs: Many stars have developed their careers thru YouTube, but no one has surpassed Psy’s billion views. Are you aiming to reach Psy’s YouTube success?

Double Take: We always take in other people’s success as motivation and inspiration, but our biggest dream is to be able to share our music to the world regardless of YouTube popularity. Hopefully when we have created enough of a fan base, we can debut our original content to our fans that we are currently working on.

What is the ultimate goal of Double Take?

Ultimately, Double Take would love to be signed to a major record label because our one true goal is to penetrate the American music industry and change the perceptions of Asian-American artists. We feel that the most efficient way to do this is to work with major record labels and their resources.

Are you aware you are celebrity look-a-likes? (Ryan Higa and Jared Eng)

We have recently seen a surge in comments about how Don Nguyen looks like Ryan Higa, but Brian Luu has never been compared to Jared Eng. Our fans have compared Brian as a look-a-like to Siva (The Wanted) and Taylor Lautner (Twilight).

Have Double Take fans created fan clubs for you?

A fan just recently made a Twitter fan club for us this past week! Our fans have done so much for us already by subscribing and sharing our content. They mean the world to us and have done more for us than we could have ever imagined. We have so much to be grateful for and cherish every single fan we have. Just an interesting example is an international fan played our cover on her radio station. Their continued support has given us the strength to continue to do what we love to do.

Kim Hyun Joong Successfully Completes 2013 Unlimited Japan Tour

After tweeting about Kim Hyun Joong touring 11 cities in Japan (via @Kimhyunjoongfan), I have to update BTSCelebers about it!

The KeyEast star didn’t let his “City Conquest” TV series cancellation get him down.

From January 6th thru March 25th, he sold out venues in cities like Tokyo and Osaka and had to extend tour dates to accommodate his large Henecian (fan) base. The venues ranged from intimate settings to large (seating for 10,000 +) and he connected with Henecians through a chat session that highlighted his musical performances.

The live band performances let Kim Hyun Joong serenade the audience with his beloved songs and new music.

Where is he headed next?

On March 28th, Kim will perform in the Okinawa International Movie Festival in Japan.

Dhoom 3 actor Aamir Khan reportedly had the time of his life in Chicago!

His co-stars from the upcoming action film, Dhoom 3, think he acts like a youngster on the filming set.

According to Bollywood Mantra, Abhishek Bachchan

“It’s absolutely brilliant to be working with Aamir. You get to learn so much. He is so much fun on set. He is like a child on the set and he is so involved and enthusiastic about everything.”

“Dhoom 3” hits theaters in India in December 2013.

BTSCelebs: What inspired you to start a YouTube cover channel?

Double Take: Double Take was inspired as a channel to play the function of a diary to manage and monitor our progress as artists. It has evolved not only to serve that purpose, but also to create a fan base where people can come to enjoy our musical projects.

Which of your videos have been viewed the most?

Live My Life – Far East Movement ft. Justin Bieber Cover [currently, the video surpassed 5 million views]

Have celebrities made comments about you recreating their hits?

Yes! A fan of ours messaged Far East Movement on Facebook and shared our “Live My Life” cover video to them! Here is a screen shot of their response! 

Another kind of interesting fact about our interaction with other recognized artists is recent JYP trainee Park Jae Hyung reaching out to us in the past to collaborate on recreating hits.

The “In My City”singer was a showstopper this week!

Actress/singer Priyanka Chopra attended the very first MTV Video Music Awards in Mumbai on March 21st and she modeled the unique Gauri and Nainika dress. The poster-like gown is a fashion surprise for this new Spring season.

In addition to her style, Miss Chopra went home a winner with her achiever award.
