[Books] BTSCelebs to Review Carla Laureano’s “Brunch at Bittersweet Cafe” This Fall

BTSCelebs will be reviewing the next book in Carla Laureano’s Supper Club series! After learning about Rachel’s culinary dreams in book one and getting a glimpse into her best friend’s lives, we can finally be formally introduced to her bohemian baker bestie Melody Johansson. “Brunch at Bittersweet Cafe” promises a unique story as it places the spotlight on the possibility of Melody opening her own bakery-cafe and falling in love with a private pilot.

BTSCelebs plans to start reading this novel in the coming weeks, and the book will be officially released on February 5th, 2019

BTS and Jung Joon Young are the next artists scheduled to make stops in the Windy City!

Chicago has been graced with many K-Pop singers over the past few years. This fall, we are in for yet another surprise. On October 2nd and 3rd, the chart-topping group BTS plans to entertain thousands in the United Center. Award-winning solo singer Jung Joon Young will be performing in the Concord Music Hall on October 14th.

Could A Disney/Shia LaBeouf Reunion Be In The Future?

“That’s So Raven” is enjoying its second spin-off, “High School Musical” is making a comeback and reruns of 2000 era favorites have been introduced to today’s youth. What about my favorite youth sitcom Even Stevens?

Back in the 2000s, I was an avid Disney Channel viewer. I enjoyed “Phil of the Future”, “Lizzie McGuire”, “Cory in the House”, “The Replacements”, “Sonny With A Chance”, “Life With Derek” several DCOMs and more. However, I believed no series on that channel was more hilarious than Even Stevens. The main cast had the best on-screen chemistry! I missed it like crazy when it ended in 2003.

Since Hollywood’s new reboot trend is on fire right now, I’m hoping Disney considers bringing stars like Shia LaBeouf, Christy Carlson Romano, A.J. Truth, Margo Harshman, Ty Hodges more in an all new version of the show. “Raven’s Home” is proof that Disney Channel stars can return to their roots, while making a positive impact on the next generation.

Over the years, Shia LaBeouf may have branched out into film genres that are the opposite of Disney, but he’s always been a talented actor. I throughly enjoyed his performance on “Even Stevens”, “Tru Confessions”, “The Greatest Game Even Played”, “Transformers’s” series and Indiana Jones. I’ll admit he’s come a long way since then, however, it’s never too late to revisit your roots.

Fantasy Casting: “Sister, Sister” Reboot

Growing up, I was a fan of the popular sitcom “Sister, Sister”, and the fact that a reboot may be in the works is exciting. Fans of the original series are hoping everyone in the main cast returns. However, I thought it would be fun to imagine an all new version of the series… where the adopted girls are not twins, and their parents’ new marriage forces them to become stepsisters. It could be interesting to see former child stars China Anne McClain and Zendaya take on the sister roles. They are comfortable working in comedy (plus they have an incredible Disney following).

Choosing their parents is a difficult task. Some unique stars for their adoptive parents could be Kenan Thompson, Kyla Pratt, Jaleel White and Jurnee Smollett-Bell.

North American fans were delighted by the honesty radiating from two well-known celebrities yesterday. Shawn Mendes told everyone via Twitter that he feels mainstream music lovers want to hear more realism.

“I feel like more than ever people just wanna hear real sh** in music & in life in general. There is literally no room for made up stories or feelings. That says a lot about our generation in the best way & I feel really proud to be apart of it.”

He added, “It feels like the most poetic music is actually coming from the most straight up conversational real life lyrics. Figuring out how to make an extremely complicated feeling turn into simple conversational sentences is really poetic to me.”

That’s deep.

Jordin Sparks puts her creative culinary skills to the test in an all new show. Every Wednesday, she plans to greet fans through an online cooking program called “Heart Of The Batter”. The captivating preview video was recently released.

Two entertainment powerhouses are getting married!

The day Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra tie the knot another royal wedding will have taken place. They both have incredible careers and impressive backgrounds. Nick comes from the Jonas family, who has excelled in music as a group and soloists (his dad was even an ordained Christian minister among accomplishments). The Jonas Brothers impacted the youth in a very positive way during their Disney days with TV shows, “Camp Rock” films and more.  Nick’s current resume includes singing, acting, songwriting and record producing.

Priyanka is a former Miss World and comes from a family filled with actors, physicians and politicians. For example, her cousins are well-known actresses and models. She has made quite the name for herself all over the world as a successful actress, singer, film producer, philanthropist and model.

These are just a few of the things that make them royalty to their family and friends in India, USA and abroad.

Based on their social media posts, these two seem completely smitten with each other! Nick recently gushed about his future bride with this message, “Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love.”

ABC’s “Boy Band” Contestant Lands Modeling Deal

One year after ABC’s “Boy Band”, the Illinois singer is embarking on a new path in his career. This week, Devin Hayes shared the happy news via social media about his exclusive contract.

“I’m very excited to announce that I have just signed with @statemgmt as a model. i’ve always wanted to model professionally but never thought I was good enough. thank you to Chris and the rest of State Mgmt for bringing me aboard! ready to see what the future holds.”
