BTSCelebs was invited to attend the lovely fairytale performance at the Studebaker Theatre today. Dancers Trinity Santoro, Lee Borowski and Ryland Acree shined as Cinderella, Prince Charming and The Jester respectively. The entire cast made the family friendly ballet even more enjoyable by their seemingly efffortless dancing throughout the entire show.
The adorable children performing as the grasshoppers, butterflies, gnomes and bees introduced the audience to the next generation of stars. Their dance was absolute perfection for ones so young!
While the seasonal fairies and international princesses (Spanish and Asian Princesses), were dazzling, Cinderella and the Prince’s dance was the highly anticipated event of the afternoon. The two stars illustrated what fairytales are made of. They seemed like they walked straight out of a storybook with their dreamlike movements and sweet on-stage chemistry.
A&A Balletis getting better every year. Chicago is anxious to see “The Nutcracker” (November 30th -December 2nd) and “Sleeping Beauty” (May 4, 2019) at the Studebaker Theatre.
* BTSCelebs sends a special thanks to A&A Ballet for the press passes and the photo.*
The indie singer is still fairly new to the music scene, but he is already releasing incredible inspirational tunes like “Parachute”, “Who Says”.BTSCelebs recently had the opportunity to interview this new star in the making and learn a little more about him.
BTSCelebs: Who is Joshua Micah?
Joshua Micah: I’m from Connecticut. I love soccer, video games, music, traveling. I’d like to think I’m a pretty normal dude.
What piqued your interest in music?
My parents would always be playing music in the house. I started playing drums on pots & pans when I was a child. They saw that I had rhythm and bought me a drum set. I taught myself drums, guitar and piano. I always wanted to be around music or making it. I used to record demos on a karaoke machine with one microphone haha. Those tapes hopefully don’t exist anywhere anymore.
Which musicians are you interested in collaborating with and why?
I am drawn to people who are willing to take risks. I want to work with good people, and I don’t necessarily mean ‘music ability’ wise – I think the foundation of creating something cool and unique starts with where the person/writer/musician is at in their life and being honest and OK with that. I have yet to collaborate with anyone on a song, but I want to in the near future if it makes sense.
Describe the dream tour you would love to be apart of.
Coldplay. I don’t even have to be on it, I’ll just open doors for Chris Martin and be happy to do it haha.
Tell us about a couple unforgettable behind-the-scenes tour moments.
My drummer and I stayed in a really cheap motel in Florida once. It smelled so bad, and felt so moist and wet in the room that we couldn’t even sleep. It was so bad. Come 5 AM.. we were so mad that we were laughing about how bad it was. We left..
I recently forgot my bag with all of my clothes in it at the House Of Blues in San Diego mid tour and had to wear the same clothes for a few days in a row. It was fun.
On a more serious note, I met a young girl at one of my shows who has the same blood disease that I had when I was her age. That was crazy.. I’ve never met anyone who has it.
If you weren’t pursuing music, what other career field would you enter?
I think I’d want to teach high school. I don’t know what I would teach..
What can we expect from you for the remainder of 2018 going into 2019?
I’ll be touring at the end of the year again. I’m working on new music that will be released before September. I have no record label so I kind of make it up as I go along. Many more weird instagram stories.
Months after Bart Millard’s hit movie “I Can Only Imagine” landed in theaters, he and his band received another honor. They won early at this years’ BBMAs! The legendary group just scored the Top Christian Artist Award.
On June 25, SHINee‘s three-part comeback will be complete!
The four members recently posed for trendy outdoor photos for “The Story of Light” albums. In the images, we get a glimpse of their title track names “Good Evening”, “I Want You” and “Our Page” and the release dates for each volume. [“The Story of Light” EP. 1 (May 28), EP. 2 (June 11) and EP. 3 (June 25)]
I’m looking forward to our talented guys’ return to the K-Pop industry! All the best to SHINee!
Rebecca St. James posted on social media today, “Our baby GIRL is here and we are delirious with joy! Imogen (means pure/innocent) Watson Fink was born last Friday night and weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces, 20 inches. Thank you Jesus that she is safely here! And thank you to so many of you for your prayers. 🙂 –Rebecca“
Today, American Idol alumni, Ace Young, Diana Degarmo Young, Melinda Doolittle and Mandisa, gathered backstage at a Franklin, TN theatre. Mandisa posted the happy photo on her Instagram along with some live performance clips of her fellow AI members.
Check out an excerpt from her message below:
“Went and saw @mdoolittle, @aceyoung & @dianadyoung in #Grease today! It was kind of like an @americanidol reunion! We’ve got 3 seasons represented in this picture. Who can name who was on what season?”
I hope Mandisa considers joining a live musical tour in the near future as well. Her vocals are out of this world, and it would be a joy to see her branch out in the acting world.

This Mother’s Day, the cable network Lifetime premieres their latest romance film based on the lives of the British royals. Following in the footsteps of the 2011 movie “William & Kate”, “Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance” promises to outline the facts, while leaving plenty of room for fiction regarding the relationship and engagement of a modern-day prince and an American actress.
Just days ago, Lifetime released a behind-the-scenes look at the highly-anticipated project. Check it out below:
Back in the day, I bought the “William and Kate”movie. Even though it was interesting, I had a hard time believing some of the private conversations between the royals and everyone surrounding William. I’ll bet this film will be just as unbelievable, but it still might be interesting to check out anyway.
Today, BTSCelebs recieved the next review book on the list!
Author Debra White Smith plans to release a slew of books this year reminiscent of the classics by romantic storyteller Jane Austen. Since I’m a big Austen fan, I had to check out one of her intriguing books.
I’ll start reading this one very soon. So stay tuned to BTSCelebs in the coming weeks for a complete review of “First Impressions”.
*BTSCelebs thanks Bethany House for the complimentary copy of the book.*
