I’m on chapter 4!

BTSCelebs is reviewing an all new book from bestselling Christian author Tracie Peterson. “Steadfast Heart” is the first edition in her “Brides of Seattle” series.

So far, I have been introduced to several characters. It piqued my interest from page one, but I’m getting a little bored with all these new people. Readers are immediately introduced to Lenore, her dad, Kolbein, James, Abrianna, Wade, the older ladies that take care of the girls at the bridal school, Priam and a few more. I need the book to return to the main story.

Book Review: Jessica Dotta’s “Price of Privilege”

The conclusion to Jessica Dotta‘s dark and mysterious Price of Privilege series is a roller-coaster ride with a heart-wrenching ending.

To make a long story short, Julia Auburn begins the book as a happy newlywed. Her brand new marriage with her husband hits a few bumps along the road , however, that forces them to return to London and reside with her rich father. As soon as her husband, Rev. Auburn, accepts a job in Africa aiding her father chaos ensues. Before they can start their new life abroad, her first criminal husband, Mr. Macy, arrests Rev Auburn and Julia is faced with a huge bigamy trial.

I’m torn with the ending. Justice does prevail, but it comes at a high cost. Two prominent characters die in the book due to poisoning. I feel Author Dotta could have chosen a much happier ending for our broken heroine Julia. There was no reason to kill off a character so near and dear to her heart. The final pages ruined the entire tale for me.

Nonetheless, if you love dark mysteries and tear-jerkers, this book is for you.

BTSCelebs’ Opinion: Adrienne Bailon Admits Fear of Rejection; Tamera Mowry Returns TCG Advice to Cheetah Girl

First of all, I was huge fan of the The Cheetah Girls. I never cared for 3LW, but I was so upset when TCG didn’t get a fourth movie. Since then, I have followed their careers somewhat.

Unfortunately, member Adrienne Bailon has halted her own music passion out of fear. Like the Holy Bible says, “Fear has torment”. On a recent episode of “The Real”, the “I’m in Love With A Church Girl” actress expressed her fear of failing if she released a solo album, and her displeasure of her singing voice.

When fellow co-host Tamera Mowry mentioned Adrienne’s personal advice of not living with a “What If”, I was immediately reminded of Adrienne’s solo in TCG: One World. The song was called “What If”. It was all about not living life with regrets and taking opportunities placed in front of you. Tamera’s message was almost identical to Adrienne’s song in the movie.

Despite the movie resemblance, I agree. Adrienne should not fear anything. If she believes in God, has a supportive fanbase and listens to her former TCG song… she has nothing to fear.

It has been ages since I last watched Melissa & Joey. Nonetheless, the hit ABC Family series keeps rolling out the red carpet for beloved celebs of yesteryear.

The last time I watched, Sonny With A Chance‘s Sterling Knight joined the cast, now Tamera Mowry from “Sister.Sister” fame will stop by for a visit.

Movie Review: Lacey Chabert’s “Christian Mingle”

Christian Mingle gives a new spin on dating in 2015.  Gwyneth (Lacey Chabert) and Paul (Jonathan Patrick Moore) start communicating through online dating, which isn’t shown on film. We see them meet at a coffee shop, and embark on a relationship where one person is lying their way through it.

The possible deception of online dating becomes apparent through Lacey’s portrayal of a girl faking sincere Christianity. Her lies catch up with her on a mission trip with Paul’s family. Unfortunately, the pair breaks up, but her road to God has just begun. That great road has a potential to lead her right back into Paul’s heart. Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Morgan Fairchild, John O’Hurley and David Keith also star in the movie based on the popular real life Christian dating website.

I tried online dating in my late teens, and ChristianMingle.com was one of the sites I registered with. The results were disastrous, and I found several liars online. Seeing Christian Mingle the movie brought back those unpleasant memories, but it also showed a positive angle that can result from someone looking for a Christian spouse.

Christian Mingle was a good movie. I recommend all ages watch this cute Valentine’s Day movie with a good message.

The film airs February 8th at 7PM EST on UP tv.

Natalie Grant Celebrates Seattle Seahawks’ Journey to Superbowl 2015

I don’t know about you, but Natalie is excited.

CCM recording artist Natalie Grant was overjoyed when her hometown football team secured their position in the Superbowl for the second year in a row. On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks miraculously beat the Green Bay Packers 28 -22 in overtime.

The defending Superbowl Champs will take on the New England Patriots on February 1st.

Congratulations to the Seahawks! I hope they win it again.
