Go Get  It … Go Get that Remote… It’s that time!

The Multi- Grammy Award Winning Gospel Duo Mary Mary is getting ready for season 2 of their WE tv fan favorite reality show.

Earlier today the ladies tweeted the following message:

“It’s Here! #MaryMary Season 2 Premiere – Special time 2nite 10pEst/9pEst right after @TamarVinceShow @WETV “

I have been a fan of this duo since 2001 and their music has always been one of the most appealing Gospel music sounds out there. The first season of their show was filled with Erica’s pregnancy, their manager’s rocky relationship with their sister/stylist Goo Goo and the everyday trials/triumphs of juggling family and a successful music career.

I am looking forward to season 2 for two reasons. Their sister’s wedding and more of a BTS look inside the recording studio.

BtoB’s Peniel Fills in as a DJ on Arirang’s Music Access

Peniel is born to DJ!

The Cube Entertainment boy band member is taking on DJing duties this week on Arirang Radio‘s Music Access. Tune in everyday now until December 9th [KST] and you can hear the K-pop star with the perfect Chicago accent. That’s right!  Peniel is from Chicago.

In 2009, he auditioned during JYP Entertainment‘s Global auditions in the Windy City and he was chosen by the top K-Pop agency. He later transferred to Cube shortly before debuting with BtoB.

BTSCelebs Fact: I was one of the auditioners at the very same audition that year. It’s great to see (and hear) one of my fellow Chicagoans make it big in the K-Pop world.

Meet my fellow December babies!

I was born on December 3rd, 1986. For years, I been curious about other celebs born in December. It seemed to be impossible to find another person born in my exact month and year. Then, the impossible happened… I finally found my birthday buddies!

So far, I have located two celebs who are actually born on the same day, month and year as me. Those two celebs are St. Louis Rams Linebacker James Laurinaitis and Portland Pirates Centre Evan Brophey.

SHINee’s Key Hangs in London with Designer Carri Munden

Key is dressing like a royal.

I’m a big SHINee fan. The talented and cute boy band from South Korea is pretty much number one on my K-Pop list (like Psy is to my fellow Americans on Billboard/iTunes). Their hit 2008 single “Noona is so pretty/Replay” was my personal favorite.

Recently, British designer Carri Munden tweeted about member Key (real name Kim Kibum). She shared the following message and image:

After her debut on the silver screen, the singer turned actress has returned to her musical roots. On November 20th, Jordin Sparks tweeted the following messages about her upcoming album.

On November 19th, the “Wait For You” singer tweeted his photos with the sports stars at the Kareem Roast. Life after American Idol is sweet! It includes music and lots of basketball. The self-professed Los Angeles Lakers fan shared the following messages to accompany his images at the event:

The Civil Wars’ Joy Williams Tweets The Birthday Bling

Happy Birthday to Joy Williams!

The former CCM recording artist and current Civil Wars vocalist celebrated her 30th birthday today and Joy’s husband Nate Yetton bought her a little bling! Nate tweeted the following message and image showcasing his present for his wife:

“Happy 30th to my beautiful wife. Alexandrite vintage from her two June boys.”

She replied, “You amaze me.”

When will she have time to show off her new piece of jewelry?

Possibly next year.

The Civil Wars are currently on a touring hiatus “due to internal discord and irreconcilable differences of ambition.” They promised to release new music next year.
