“Cinderella” Opens at Lyric Opera of Chicago

Last year, BTSCelebs reviewed “Cinderella” on Broadway in Chicago, and I absolutely adored it!
Tomorrow, Lyric Opera debuts Gioachino Rossini’s version of the timeless tale of a mistreated young woman who eventually meets a Prince and lives happily ever after. Stars Isabel Leonard and Lawrence Brownlee take on the iconic roles of the Cinderella and the Prince.
In an official press release, Lyric’s general director, Anthony Freud, shared his impression of the retelling of the classic, “This production is zany and slightly surreal, but accessible and entertaining. It’s a fairytale environment with primary colors and a witty, quirky design, very Spanish in its aesthetic.”
Alessandro Corbelli, Vito Priante, Christian Van Horn join a host of other talented opera singers and actors in this revamped version of “Cinderella”.
I sincerely hope Rossini’s tale is just as great as the beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein’s version.

Bears Start Trading Players Following Triple Losses
Da Bears season is off to a rough start!
Following losses to the Packers, Cardinals and Seahawks since the 2015-2016 season began, the legendary Chicago football team is already changing up the roster. Bears started with trading linebacker Jared Allen to the Carolina Panthers yesterday, and their 2013 NFL draft pick, linebacker Jonathan Bostic, to the New England Patriots today. News of Bostic’s trade hit the world wide web about an hour ago.
The inside linebacker wasn’t able to take part in the Bears’ current season or preseason training due to an ankle injury. His short tenure here is officially over as he heads to the East coast.
All the best to the guys to their future in Pro-football! BTSCelebs hopes the Bears turns this season around soon.

Yesterday, Kurt shared the image above of his fabulous new hairstyle along with this message.
“Haircut! tongue emoticon also got a new video coming late late tonight… I think you guys will really like it!”

SHINee Shows off Fashionable 2015 Fall Fashions
SHINee‘s Minho recently returned to his homeland after spending a week in the glorious United States for New York Fashion Week. Upon his return, SHINee made an appearance at the Hallyu Dream Festival and performed catchy tunes like their hit single”View”.
My boys always maintain their fashion kings status with styles only celebrities could get away with. I always love pieces SHINee wears for certain events… I think every ShaWol would want a chance to mix and match their adorable stage and red carpet outfits. Movie Review: “Welcome Home”
Tonight, Luke Perry starred in a powerful movie about overcoming homelessness in America. “Welcome Home” is the story about a struggling writer named Stewart Paylor (Perry) behind on his own mortgage who arrives home after a vacation to find a family squatting in his house. However, he discovers the mom Cassandra (Camille Sullivan) and her children, Jake (Will Verchere-Gopaulsingh) and Vera (Kayden Magnuson), were actually the previous owners of his home before her husband passed away and they were the victims of foreclosure.
The film illustrates the possibility of what could happen if homeowners open their doors and offer to help the needy. Homelessness is a very serious issue that can happen to anyone at any time. Personally, I love how Perry’s character opens his heart to them, and gives them the opportunity to reclaim their old quality of life. BTSCelebs highly recommends everyone view this film. It is truly a gem.
Well done to the entire cast and crew of “Welcome Home”!
