BTSCelebs: How did you feel about your engagement/wedding being broadcast to a television audience on We TV?

DES: I think it was cool… It gave our family and friends that didn’t get an opportunity to attend the wedding a chance to feel like they were still a part of it all.  

ALANA: Well, I was initially completely against the whole reality tv thing initially.  Des’ grandfather got sick and his grandparents were not able to make it to the wedding. Allowing them to be apart of our experience without actually being there meant a lot.

Walk us through the steps in your wedding dress and tux designing: Did you tailor make your bridesmaid and groomsmen attire?

DES: I wore a 6 button peak tuxedo tailcoat by Cardi in the wedding with a white paisley ascot. I always imagined myself wearing “tails”… It made me feel like a prince about to marry my long lost princess lol! My groomsmen wore slim fit 2 button tuxes by Calvin Klein.     
ALANA: Goo Goo and I came up with the dress design. I had an idea of what I wanted my dress to look like, but Goo set me up with a dress maker helped me cross the t’s and dot the i’s so to speak. 

 My nephew, Jared Williams, actually made the dresses. Picking a design and fabric was a headache because the Atkins women are very curvaceous and 2 bridesmaids were pregnant, so I had to be cautious of the different body types. After some whining from the bridesmaids, I did finally pick a design I got the least amount of complaints from.

If you had the opportunity to guest star on any reality show or regular TV drama currently airing, which project would you choose and why?

DES: Hmmm… Do I have to pick just one?! Lol Well, I have to say that “Scandal” is one of my favorites. I definitely could see myself in that… Maybe as one of Olivia’s clients. Or maybe the new show on BET called “Real Husbands of Hollywood”. It looks like they have fun.
ALANA: I have no clue, I don’t watch much tv. Never thought of doing anything else on tv honestly, but if I had to choose….hmmmmm…probably Scandal or an adventurous show like Survivor.

BTSCelebs is a blog all about the behind-the-scenes aspect of the entertainment industry, do you think you will start a blog of your own about married life and becoming a Jamison household?

DES: You know, to be honest, I’ve never really thought about that. I’m not sure.  

 ALANA: Probably not.

Will Goo Goo and Justin follow in your footsteps and get married on the show?

DES: Married??? Wow! Uh, I don’t know. They have to get engaged first! Which means they’ll probably want to live in the same city first. I mean, it is a possibility for the future but I don’t know. He has to buy that hardware (a ring) first.

ALANA: Well first we don’t know if they will marry at all. If they choose to, they may opt out due to a lot of negativity given to Justin. I don’t feel the show accurately portrays him as a person or his and Goo’s relationship. You only see bad moments of their relationship, which leads most to think that is how it always is between them. I think some changes would need to be made in order for that to happen.
