Before Taemin was a guest star on Nickelodeon’s All That with SuperM, the SHINee member made several appearances on Asian dramas. Since he and his band SHINee are scheduled to make a music comeback next month, I think it is great time to celebrate their TV acting careers as well. On Tuesday, GOT7‘s contract with JYP Entertainment comes to an end. Fans, aka Ahgases, are excited for their next chapter, and rumors have been swirling that member Mark Tuan is coming stateside to continue his career. To jumpstart his solo endeavor, the Taiwanese American artist opened a brand new YouTube channel and Facebook page to interact with fans.
The big question is…. will he join Twitch in the near future? I know the video live streaming service is helping top influencers build their audience while communicating with fans in real time. A host of stars like Ryan Higa, Amber Liu (fx) and Megan Lee and even his own brother Joey Tuan are already on Twitch. It would be great if he joined to share his music and keep everyone updated on his busy schedule. I hope he seriously considers it in the near future.

BTSCelebs is kicking off 2021 with an all new book review. Courtney Walsh‘s “Is It Any Wonder” is the first one of the year. I’m currently on chapter 11 of the contemporary romance all about a young couple torn apart by tragedy and reuniting years later. The story is set in Nantucket and follows the characters Cody Boggs and Louisa Chambers.

On December 30th, BTS member V celebrates another year of life with his beloved bandmates and fans (ARMY). His international supporters continue to show their love with grand gestures like a birthday ad on the Burj Khalifa in Dubai (courtesy of China Baidu V Bar) and helping him rank high on the “100 Most Handsome Faces of Kpop” list. He even became the first Korean artist to score 3 number one hits on Soundcloud’s global chart.
Throughout the year, V and his band continues to top the Billboard charts, earn awards and was honored with a Grammy nomination. Let’s celebrate this global star’s 25th birthday by reliving a BTS interview during their debut year to marvel at how far V and the guys have come while acknowledging the bright future ahead.

This winter, The Joffrey Ballet is introducing the “Joffrey Studio Series”, which will be filled with performances, livestreams, and in-depth conversations with industry professionals. An official press release from The Silverman Group outlined the company’s plans for their devoted audience.
Here are the programs that are currently scheduled:
Fathom Events is bringing the holiday family musical, BUTTONS: A Christmas Tale, back to theaters on December 17. It will be showing for only one night, according to an official press release from Collide Media Group.
BUTTONS is about “two orphaned children who meet a pair of unexpected visitors. Their influence starts the children on a journey that will change their lives forever – and help audiences discover that believing can be the greatest adventure of all.”

When Calls the Heart star Paul Greene is scheduled to be the host of the pre-show Christmas concert for the one night screening. Robert Redford and Kate Winslet narrates BUTTONS, while Paul McCartney created the film’s theme song, “Nova”. Writer/director of Tim Janis created this holiday family flick which features Dick Van Dyke, Angela Lansbury, Roma Downey, Jane Seymour and many more.
Schools and churches will be given the opportunity to screen the movie through the Fathom Affinity Network throughout the rest of the month.
